Fashion Marketing and "New Vintage" Clothing Design of the 1920s
Fashion marketing of the 1920s has skyrocketed because of a renewed interest in vintage clothing designs and the culture of the past.
All over the internet there are more craftsmen designing clothes, hats, music, theater and art influenced by the 1920s. Talented writers and craftspeople have transformed the Roaring Twenties into a big business. (links stay on page)
Of course these artists aren't limited to 1920s style. They combine and fuse elements of vintage 1920s fashion and culture with those of Gothic Couture, Victorian Era, pinup, exotic fashions, plus nuances of the modern world.
Kat Toronto: Head Hat Mistress and Owner of Hey Sailor! Hats!Hatmaker Kat Toronto derives much of her inspiration for her Hey Sailor! Hats from the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Kat adds the whimsical flair she feels is missing from the simple vintage hats you find online and in vintage stores.
