This ad exposes so many levels to 1920's society that I would feel remiss if we didn't give it some airtime. If Kotex ran this advertisement today I think they would probably be put out of business within a week. The Headline: The Safe Solution To Women's Greatest Hygenic Problem "Oh no he didn't!" Not only does this imply that women are almost fundamentally dirty with multiple "hygenic problems", it also Not only does the sub-headline say: Which 8 in 10 Better Class women have adopted.
